Gilding knife

The gilding knife is needed to cut the gold leaf. For an excellent result when using it, we suggest not touching the blade with your fingers otherwise it has to be degreased only with alcohol, remembering to sharpen it with extra fine grain sandpaper. A tool with agate stone point is used to press the gold leaf into the support. The highly smooth surface of the agate stone lets you fix and polish the gold leaf.
